Some clients, particularly in the public sector require maintenance contractors to be NICEIC accredited, however, whilst NICEIC is highly respected and one of the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory bodies for the electrical contracting industry, covering most aspects of electrical work undertaken in all types of premises from domestic dwellings to large industrial complexes, it focuses on ensuring competence of electrical contractors primarily involved in electrical installation work.
