ceda announces launch of new Sustainability Working Group

Following the announcement that Alice Kilner, Gratte Brothers Group, Sustainability Manager has joined the ceda Board, the association has formally created a Sustainability Working Group to support Members and Partners with their sustainability responsibilities and objectives.

Miss Kilner will chair the Group and has appointed Lauren Hunter, Sustainability Director of Invito Design to the position of vice-chair.

The Group’s outputs will focus on building knowledge and understanding throughout the supply-chain, creating a central hub for guidance and data as well as delivering best-practice solutions to enable ceda Members and Partners to fulfil their own obligations and best support their customers.

Members and Partners are invited to put forward people that want to be a part of the Group to help drive collaborative change.

Miss Kilner confirmed, “We need representation from and dialogue with all areas of the supply-chain and we will be closely engaged with operators too to ensure that the solutions we deliver are joined-up and meeting requirements.”

ceda Director General, Adam Mason, commented, “The development plan that we launched at Conference has Sustainability as a central pillar and having Alice and Lauren at the helm demonstrates the significance of our commitment. They are two of the most knowledgeable subject experts in the Industry and I’m really looking forward to working with them both.”
