The Burnt Chef project reports that 4 out of 5 hospitality professionals report having experienced at least one mental health issue during their career. The catering equipment industry and associated community is intrinsically linked to the hospitality industry and is no stranger to mental health issues.

Therefore ceda has set up a Mental Health and Wellbeing Group to work with external stakeholders to deliver Industry specific resources, training and support that is available to the entire Membership on an Industry level. We are looking to break down the stigma surrounding Mental Health issues and be a conduit for people struggling with Mental Health issues to get help now.

Working with the support of The Burnt Chef Project we will be able to offer:

⬤   24/7 crisis and emotional support text service

⬤   Ongoing therapy support

⬤   Mental Health, wellbeing & professional e-learning

⬤   Workshops for mental health, sleep, burnout & resilience

⬤   Workplace posters
