Soho House Farmhouse

Court Catering Equipment limited

Following the successful design and installation of food service facilities at the new White City Club in 2018 Court Catering were invited to be involved with the Oxford Farmhouse refurbishment project.
Opened in 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, the Soho Members Club occupies a series of renovated outbuildings including a dilapidated watermill that now houses a country pub.

The initial brief was to remove an existing bakery oven in the Farmhouse area and supply and install a new stacked Combination Oven together with relocating an existing stacked combination oven into the same area.

The client also requested the design to include the supply and installation of a small finishing kitchen in the Bakery area providing daily freshly baked bread, paninis and other home baked items for the members to enjoy whilst sitting in the Courtyard or to purchase from the Bakery shop. This farmshop-cum-deli was to provide light bites and a limited lunch menu for guests. A large baking oven was to be central to the design.

Looking to create a guest cottage on a farm type atmosphere, the ability to provide fresh bakery items was an essential pre-requisite of the design.

Client Satisfaction

Following this successful installation the client asked Court Catering to be involved with a further project at Dean Street to provide a back of house prep facility. This area produced freshly prepared food and drink for workers renting office space in the building by the hour or day. This was also successfully completed later in 2020.
