Soho House Manchester

NWCE Foodservice Equipment

The delivery of Soho House Manchester marked a significant milestone for the globally renowned members’ club brand, bringing its first northern venue to life within a striking repurposed 1950s building. Working across three floors, NWCE Foodservice Equipment created an extensive hospitality operation comprising a large production kitchen, multiple bars, specialist preparation areas and back-of-house facilities designed to support Soho House’s internationally inspired food and beverage offering.

At the heart of the project was a highly sophisticated kitchen environment, featuring dedicated bakery, preparation, dessert and pizza production zones alongside advanced cooking, refrigeration and warewashing systems. The upper levels incorporated bespoke bar installations developed in close collaboration with Soho House’s design team, blending operational efficiency with the distinctive aesthetic expected across the brand’s global portfolio.

The project demanded creative problem-solving throughout, from overcoming access restrictions within the heritage building to adapting designs around unforeseen M&E clashes and contractor changes. Through meticulous planning, external hoists, crane-assisted deliveries and close coordination with all trades, NWCE successfully transformed a challenging construction environment into a seamless hospitality destination. The completed venue delivers the operational performance, flexibility and premium guest experience required by one of the world’s most recognisable hospitality brands.
