Vision Commercial Kitchens<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Vision Commercial Kitchens was appointed to deliver the foodservice package for Six Senses at The Whiteley, the luxury hospitality brand\u2019s first flagship hotel in the UK. Located within the landmark redevelopment of the historic Whiteleys department store in Bayswater, London, the project formed part of a major mixed-use scheme combining hotel, residential, retail and leisure spaces. Secured through competitive tender against a Tricon Foodservice Consultants specification, the \u00a32 million package required the delivery of multiple foodservice environments, including a basement production kitchen, two show kitchens, bars, staff dining facilities and back-of-house support areas, all within the constraints of a listed building and a highly complex construction environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the outset, the project demanded extensive pre-construction development, value engineering and design refinement to balance operational requirements, luxury hospitality standards and commercial objectives. Working closely with Beck Interiors, Tricon and the wider project team, Vision coordinated specialist cooking suites, bespoke ventilation systems, demand-controlled extraction technology and premium front-of-house installations, ensuring that performance, aesthetics and sustainability objectives were fully aligned. The complexity of the redevelopment was further increased by multiple principal contractors operating within the same building and the need to manage numerous interfaces across overlapping workstreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite significant programme disruption, including delays to the wider redevelopment and the insolvency of Beck Interiors during the project, Vision maintained delivery continuity through proactive procurement, disciplined change management and strong stakeholder collaboration. By securing long-lead equipment early and implementing robust commercial controls, the team protected both programme and budget while adapting to evolving site conditions. The completed installation successfully combines world-class back-of-house production facilities with premium guest-facing culinary spaces, demonstrating Vision Commercial Kitchens\u2019 ability to deliver technically demanding, high-end hospitality projects within some of the most challenging construction environments in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
