GS Catering Equipment was appointed to deliver the catering facilities package for Addleshaw Goddard LLP’s new headquarters at 41 Lothbury, one of London’s most prestigious office developments in the heart of the City. Working alongside principal contractor Mace and consultant Humble Arnold Associates, GS Catering Equipment provided a comprehensive multi-floor catering solution designed to support the firm’s growing workforce while complementing the refurbishment of a landmark heritage building. The project included kitchens, serveries, beverage pantries, stores and water dispensing systems across multiple levels, creating a seamless food and beverage operation at the centre of the workplace experience.

Despite significant challenges, including the collapse of the original main contractor ISG before works commenced, GS Catering Equipment successfully maintained programme continuity, protected procurement schedules and adapted to evolving site conditions without impacting cost or delivery. Through proactive communication, meticulous coordination with contractors, consultants and specialist suppliers, and careful management of complex logistics within a restricted city-centre environment, the team overcame design changes, service clashes and installation constraints while maintaining alignment with the project vision.

The completed facilities feature fully electric, energy-efficient catering equipment, including bespoke cooking suites, specialist ventilation systems, refrigeration and warewashing solutions, supporting Addleshaw Goddard’s long-term sustainability objectives. Delivered on time, within budget and with a snag-free handover, the project demonstrated GS Catering Equipment’s technical expertise, collaborative approach and ability to successfully execute complex commercial catering installations within high-profile corporate environments.
