Evolv Collection

TAG Catering Equipment UK Ltd

TAG Catering Equipment has supported D&D London—now rebranded as the Evolv Collection—for over 15 years, maintaining some of the UK’s most prestigious hospitality venues. In 2024 alone, TAG completed 10 major projects and responded to over 200 service calls across 22 restaurants and a hotel in the Evolv portfolio. This level of support ensured uninterrupted service across high-profile dining destinations such as 100 Wardour Street, Bluebird Chelsea, Skylon, and German Gymnasium.

The year’s defining moment came with the simultaneous refurbishment of the Skylon and German Gymnasium kitchens, Evolv’s most ambitious projects with TAG to date. Both venues remained operational throughout, and both kitchen overhauls were completed within an intense 18-day programme—delivered on time, within budget, and without disruption. The TAG team took full ownership from start to finish: developing designs, managing procurement, coordinating logistics, and overseeing every aspect of installation and service connection.

This hands-on approach extended well beyond the physical build. TAG’s familiarity with Evolv’s estate allowed the team to identify and strategically reuse existing equipment, reducing unnecessary spend while maintaining high standards. Every asset was tracked, and service histories reviewed to ensure only viable items were retained. This detail-oriented process, combined with in-house delivery, enabled TAG to avoid any cost overruns and keep control of the programme from day one.

Over the course of the year, TAG also handled 212 service and breakdown calls, 59% of which were emergency repairs—gas, electric, warewashing, and refrigeration—all managed with a 78% first-time fix rate. Another 18% involved proactive servicing and gas safety testing, minimising downtime and ensuring compliance. All of this work was supported by TAG’s service, design, and engineering teams—coordinating closely across all 22 Evolv sites.

Crucially, TAG’s work wasn’t just reactive. The team helped establish brand-wide equipment standards, improving future rollout efficiency and aligning specification with operational need. This was especially evident at German Gymnasium, where the installation phase was managed around live service without interruption—supported by the project team’s deep understanding of Evolv’s kitchens and operational flows.

With zero delays and zero surprises, the Skylon and German Gymnasium projects showcased TAG’s ability to handle high-pressure, high-profile work with speed, care, and professionalism. From service and maintenance to full kitchen refurbishments, TAG provided Evolv with complete, end-to-end support—reducing risk, saving time, and protecting performance across the board.

The relationship continues to evolve, but in 2024, TAG set a new benchmark for what consistent, strategic catering support can look like at scale.
