All areas, kitchen, stores, bar, have quality and energy efficient equipment with clean lines and ease of operation, cleaning and maintenance, although costs savings were demanded by the client. CNG’s clear and open approach with the client of offering “acceptable compromises” and ensuring that critical aspects of the specification were not affected.

As ever CNG were not simply going to follow the heard and omit items, devalue key aspects of the design just to save money at that time leaving the client and operators to regret these changes for years. Instead CNG guided the client through a revised specification to create a new version which would deliver what was required in a reduced budget.

The strong working relationship that CNG have developed with the senior estates & property team and of course the hospitality management team during Dewars has lead to CNG being their preferred supplier for projects at Flamingo Land. Replacing a certain well know company in the North West.

Since 2018 CNG have completed a number of projects, the latest being The Coach House in March 2024, with several in planning for Autumn & Winter 24/25.

Dewars has proven to be the start of a very good and enduring business relationship between Flamingo Land and CNG, yes there have been challenges and will be again, but both businesses respect the other.

Further both businesses understand each needs to be comfortable with each and every deal and each project. In simple terms, this is an enjoyable business relationship and life is too short to work with anyone you don’t like.
