Pavilion

The Client approached Advance during March 2020, A memorable moment for all of us given it was the first month of lockdown during the pandemic. We developed the concept and design during this period working intensely remotely with the client, the architect and builder.

The scheme is part of a development called Island Quarter and pavilion is a purpose built 3 story high building, which will be the focus of 3 F&B offers and events, all with their own dedicated kitchens and bars all designed by Advance. Laurence Henry, the well-known Nottingham chef and former MasterChef winner, has been named chef patron, with a heavy focus on local.

The canal side lower level is an all day dining bar and grill with an large, open plan venue overlooking the canal and includes boasting an outside bar and extensive events space. The middle ground level is Laurence’s signature restaurant – a place to display his culinary craft and his creativity. The upper events level is a large, open plan space with capacity for 200 people for parties, events, and celebrations.
