To provide a multi sensory eatery that offers families an area, not only to eat & drink, but to engage with the natural world, learn more about where food comes from and discover the important role plants and fungi play.
The eatery was to accommodate 250 diners and is shaped around a series of colour coded zones with seasonal food stories coming into play. The areas mirror the Kew Gardens Children’s Garden interactive zones.
There is to be a dedicated quiet seating area for neurodiverse visitors to allow them to enjoy the facility in a calm and relaxed way.
At the heart of the facility a Stone Baked Pizza Oven allows visitors to watch their food being prepared.
