Unalome

Instock Ltd

The client asked for a full design & build for a new relaxed fine dining restaurant which will be looking to get a Michelin star within its first year of opening. It must include an open kitchen where the majority of customers can view the cooking suite, a kitchen table, a private table which doesn’t block the view for other guests when not in use. The kitchen was to be designed to be as sustainable and energy efficient as possible. The design was to be modern, chic but with a classic feel.

Client Satisfaction

The client was extremely pleased with the design and installation of the project. The open kitchen and design of the kitchen wall cladding has been mentioned numerous times to the chef since they opened as being absolutely stunning. The flow and movement within the kitchen has been described as near perfect by the team working in the kitchen. The restaurant has had reviews by the Times, Scotsman, Herald, Daily Record, Taste Magazine and Westender who have all raved about the food and the design of the restaurant. The client only uses green electricity and believes the energy saved with this style of kitchen using, heat recovery, induction cooking and Rational etc means the energy saved versus a traditional kitchen is massive. They will be looking to get net zero accredited this year.
